Michał Stępień
Deputy CEO, AFI Europe Poland, Head of AFI Home
Michał Stępień has over 20 years of experience in real estate. He joined AFI Europe Poland in 2008, where he played a key role in expanding the company's portfolio from a single project to over 1 billion euros in assets under management, covering 14 residential and commercial projects in Warsaw, Kraków and Wrocław. Under his supervision, the AFI Home rental apartment portfolio in Poland grew to around 4,000 units in different development phases. His responsibilities include the development and sale of PRS projects, as well as the execution of M&A transactions conducted by AFI in Poland. On behalf of the company, he also directly oversees the progress of the Towarowa 22 project.
Prior to joining AFI Europe, Michał held managerial positions at consulting firms Ernst & Young and Deloitte in Hamburg He is a graduate in Finance and Banking and holds a PhD from the Warsaw School of Economics. He also studied at Christian-Albrechts-University in Kiel. Michał is a certified auditor in Poland.
