Elżbieta Rotblum, Sustainable Development Expert, Skanska office company in CEE region.
Elżbieta Rotblum is a sustainable development expert with 15 years of professional experience. For over 4 years now she has been associated with the Skanska office development company in Central and Eastern Europe, where, among others, she is responsible for the educational programs "Green Education by Skanska" and "Climate Campaign" aimed at office end-users and commercial investors, as well as general public. Elżbieta is also involved in the implementation of circular economy principles on Skanska projects and is responsible for cooperation with business in the field of ESG communication and reporting. She is the initiator and co-founder of Body & Mind Network, an employee network (ERG) focused on supporting the physical and mental well-being of employees, and developing inclusive workspaces.
In Poland, she started her career in the real estate sector in 2015, by joining a company dealing with building automation and security systems, then she moved to JLL as Proposal Coordinator. At JLL, she also served as Leader of the Charity Committee and Green Committee, focusing on organizing corporate social responsibility (CSR) events for the company's employees. Before she started working in the real estate market, she had been associated with United Nations agencies - UNDP and UN Global Compact.
Previously, for five years, she lived in Wales, where she got herself educated in sustainable development after finishing her degree in human geography with international politics. Alongside she worked on the 'Transition Towns' and 'Changing Times' projects, which focused on energy efficiency of non-commercial real estate, energy poverty, behavioural change of energy end-users, and the general well-being of local communities.
Elżbieta is also a member of the Management Board of the Polish Green Building Council, PLGBC, where she oversees the topics of circular economy and ethics.
In addition, Elżbieta is a Young Leader in the Urban Land Institute (ULI) organization, where she is a member of the European Sustainability Product Council.
Outside of work, Elżbieta is a volunteer of the Ronald McDonald Poland Foundation (RMHC), and, above all, a mother of two-year-old Gustaw.
