Justyna Glusman

Deputy Mayor of the Ochota District of the Capital City of Warsaw

Expert in sustainable urban development, buildings decarbonization and energy transformation. Graduated from SGH Warsaw School of Economics and the London School of Economics and Political Science, where she earned her PhD in economic policy and completed a master's degree and MSc Executive in Cities. Justyna has experience working in private sector as well as government and local administration, including the Office of the Committee for European Integration and the Chancellery of the President of the Republic of Poland. From 2018 to 2022 she was responsible for replacing coal-fired stoves, climate policy, and managing urban greenery in the Warsaw City Hall Management Board. Currently, deputy mayor of the Ochota district, responsible for architecture, greenery and infrastructure. She is the author and co-author of numerous publications on local government finance, urban greenery management, energy efficiency and green transformation. Member of the Program Council of the Civic Congress, the CitySense think tank, and the Ochocianie Sąsiedzi Association.
